Be Merciful, O Lord, For We Have Sinned

Admit it, we all mess up. We say stuff we shouldn’t, hurt others, make choices we regret. It’s easy to feel weighed down by guilt and shame, but hold on – that’s where the amazing message of “Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned” comes in. It reminds us that God’s forgiveness isn’t some far-off dream, but a real possibility, even for messy, imperfect teens like us. It doesn’t mean He condones our actions, but that He sees our remorse and offers a chance to start fresh.

Remember that messing up doesn’t define you. Forgiveness and growth are always possible.

Ask Yourself

When I feel guilty about something, how can I truly seek forgiveness and move forward?

Let Us Pray

Loving God, help me acknowledge my mistakes, sincerely apologize, and receive your forgiveness. Guide me towards becoming the best version of myself. Amen.
