A Heart Contrite And Humbled, O God, You Will Not Spurn

Made a mistake? Said the wrong thing? Missteps are a natural part of life. Sometimes we say or do things we regret, and shame weighs us down. But the Bible offers a glimmer of hope: “A heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.” It means even when we stumble, God’s love isn’t out of reach. He sees our remorse, our desire to do better, and that matters.

Remember that everyone makes mistakes. It’s not about being perfect, but about learning and growing.

Ask Yourself

When I make a mistake, how can I approach it with a contrite and humble heart?

Let Us Pray

Loving God, forgive my mistakes and help me learn from them. Guide me towards a heart that seeks to be better, knowing Your love is always there. Amen.
